Thank you for a very interesting question, and I guess the answer will be equally as interesting. You see Revival "could" start at just about anytime, and probably anywhere - The question is, just how bad do the people who are looking for Revival want it! Consider the scripture 2 Chronicles 7:14

"if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Many have heard this passage, but sadly few (on the whole) have truly taken on board exactly what God is saying to us. I think God is looking for a people who will truly Humble themselves and live purely for him; and if you Pray for God to share his heart with you, I think you will see his Heartfelt desire for the lost and both the anger and despair he feels for the way things are in the world today - anything but the way he originally intended it to be.
Revival is nothing less than a Miracle and for it to begin you need to both "walk the walk" and "talk the talk" - you have to show God that you really, really want him to come; by the way that you live and by your Hearts desire through your Faith and obedience.
If you haven't already, I would suggest that you read the Revival Page and associated documents to gain some insight into many great Revivals of the past and to see what the main ingredients were. I think you will find it to be an interesting journey.
