Are you sure?

What is it that drives people to have their children Christened (Baptized) in a Church, or why do people prefer to go into Church to be Married? — Why do they Pray when something scary or bad happens? or say the well known phrase “oh my God”. The fact is that most people do these things without really understanding or even caring why because it is considered traditional……did you ever think about that?

Many people will tell you that they do believe in God and think that their belief coupled with being a good person is all it takes to be a Christian and “Guarantee” a ticket into Heaven when their time is up, but they never pursue it any further as it might ruin their street credibility, and they don't want to suffer the "embarrassment" of being called a Bible basher, or Jesus freak. If this sounds a bit like you, then I have to say that I felt a bit like that in the beginning too, but as time goes by (which it does) you come to realize that in this world there is only either good or bad and we ALL know the difference!, but to truly know how to differentiate you need to examine the word of God. If I asked you what sin is, you would probably say, murder or stealing etc, and you would be right, but it isn’t just the major things in life, because through God’s eyes sin covers a whole multitude of thoughts, words & deeds that many people do daily without even batting an eyelid. Are you sure that confessing your sins in Church is enough, or does it just ease your conscience?. If you read the Bible it tells you quite clearly that only God can forgive your sins - that was one of the reasons why Jesus was killed because He forgave people of their sins and the ones who called for His execution couldn't accept that He was God become flesh. The Good News is that there is forgiveness for your sins through Jesus Christ (and believe me you need forgiveness) but you need to move quickly as time is running out, God gives you the free will to choose and you know that His Word has been around a lot longer than you have so there are no excuses. Now of course you can leave this site and carry on as you were, but remember this, if you go to hell “there is NO escape and NO exit”. Now, are you sure you're going to Heaven?

CONGRATULATIONS!, because if you have decided to read on after that small challenge then you deserve it, and I do really mean that, because it shows that you are ready to hear the truth that most people run away from (with a bit of help from the devil - of course)
