Making a donation to this Ministry

One thing that stands out to me is the sheer number of Christian Ministries which are asking for money. And given the work that many of them do in other countries and disaster struck areas I have no doubt that it takes a lot of money to fufil that kind of outreach, after all we are comissioned to "go out into all the world and make disciples of all nations". Even we donate to the work of other Ministries, but nevertheless a lot of people become reluctant and are put off by the mass of causes out there each with it's own unique reasons for asking.
Because we live in a world which comprises mainly of disbelievers, the responsibility of carrying the word to the lost and hurting becomes that of the body of Christ, and we all have a part to play in that. Some of us go out into the streets and proclaim the Good News whilst other cannot, but the ones who cannot; can still reach out to the lost by helping to finance the one's who do. Sadly, this side of Jesus' return we also live in a world where finance "wears the boots" and to someone who is trying their best to fufil their calling in Ministry can be constantly hindered by lack.

In my position, it is my desire to serve the Lord full time, I want to give Him as much time as possible by having the freedom to go out into the streets and bring the Good News to as many lost and hurting souls as possible, but I constantly find myself accosted by lack of financial means. I am not going to try and make you feel obliged by quoting scripture to you about sowing into good soil as you will already know the principles for giving and the just rewards that go with a joyful giver. I would rather just ask you to Pray over the situation and ask God what He would have you do in helping me to be free from financial burden thus enabling me to "go out" free to do the will of God in both planting new seeds and harvesting lost souls into the kingdom.

We are looking to open a new drop-in centre in Leigh town centre (UK), where we can invite the needy to have something to eat and drink but at the same time; immerse them in an atmosphere of Love, compassion, worship and Prayer - A place where they can begin to see the fruit of the spirit being lived out among those of us serving them. Almost everyone needs prayer even if they haven't realised it and that is where we come in. The cente would not be "just" a "snack bar" for anyone and everyone but it would be a place where the unchurched would be able to, perhaps for the first time, experience the Love of Jesus and the knowledge that someone out there really does care about them.

Of course the prime objective is to help people overcome their misconceptions about the Church and what exactly "Church" means. Please do pray for this planned outreach as it will be a significant step forward here in the North West of England towards a true and lasting revival - To the Glory of God the Father.

Of course all of this is going to take money, but I'm sure it will be a very worthwhile cause. Remember Luke 15:10 ---> "In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
